Total Hip Arthroplasty - DAA

The less tissue traumatic technique of total hip arthroplasty, with an incision of 8-10 cm in the anterior side of the thigh. The Direct Anterior Approach in both America and Europe is gaining more and more fans every day due to the minimal destruction of the tissues around the hip joint. The technique with the fastest recovery and the smallest blood loss intraoperatively, allows the patient to get up and walk a few hours after surgery and return home at first postoperative day (Fast Track).
